In loving memory…

Kind of a sad post, but I wanted to explain my recent absence from the blog. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you’ve probably heard mention of my Aunt Nancy and her fight with breast cancer. She was a big supporter of the blog, and by supporter I mean she spoiled me with nail polish gifts and was always amused and excited to see what I would do next. Two weeks ago she lost her battle to cancer and I’ve missed her every day since. She was a major part of my life the last few years; living in Michigan with her was an adventure, a learning experience, and in many ways a blessing for both of us. It’s a small tribute to dedicate a mani and a post to her, but I’d like to think she’d be amused, and it’s a special way for me to say thanks for all she did for me and thanks for supporting all my craziness, including when it came to my nails. ❤

I’ve been keeping up with my manis, and Mel even came up for an epic nail polish spree in the City last weekend, so I’ll be back to posting regularly with some crazy hauls, some pretty manis, and some fun nail adventures. Thanks for bearing with us, and thanks for all the good thoughts. ❤

  1. Gosh, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss my condolences to you and your family. 😦 I’m glad you had a wonderful person like your Aunt Nancy in your life and I’m sure she was grateful for your love and support during her battle. May she rest in peace.
