*whispers* Ice Ice baby!

The song was stuck in my head EVERY.TIME I walked into a Walgreens.  The search for Wet n Wild’s Ice Baby collection was long and hard (like most awesome Wet n Wild collections) but this was worth it. I’d do it all over again if it meant the end result were these gorgeous polishes.

More under the cut!!!

These polishes have made me a fan of the extremely dense glitter.  Never thought I’d find a glitter that glided so smoothly that covered the nail as much as Believe Me, It’s Real and Back Alley Deals does.  Wow.   This stuff puts other glitters to shame, sadly.

Believe Me, It’s Real is gorgeous dense blue sparkly glitter with spots of purple glitter.  Back Alley Deals is a dupe for Nails Inc.’s Bloomsbury Square Special Effects 3D glitter which was a lemming of mine for a long time.  Scrangie wrote up a good post of its dupeness: http://www.scrangie.com/2011/11/nails-inc-special-effects-3d-glitter-in.html.   You really can’t beat a $3 dupe for an expensive polish.

You will need two top coats for the smooth, glassy finish. I chose Gelous and Seche Vite.

I kept this on for a LONG time and finally matted it when it was near its end in wear:
