Wet n Wild – Cougar Attack (!) over China Glaze – Ingrid
The last to be reviewed in our On the Prowl collection of reviews: Cougar Attack!!! The name doesn’t really have any explanation points but it totally should. It’s a very dense coppery glitter, and it’s amazing. I’m such a sucker for layering, especially with glitters. And I usually know my glitters well, but this one was quite the surprise! I thought I was outsmarting it by putting 2 coats of Ingrid under it, yeah, lol at me. A few brush strokes of Cougar Attack on the nail totally covered up Ingrid and you wouldn’t even know Ingrid was there. Awesome. So yeah, a base color is unnecessary for this one! Yay! Moreover, I think CA is just gorgeous. It’s what Sally Hansen’s Pumpkin Spice should be, and what all other sparse glitters should aspire to.
1 coat Seche Rebuild (base)
2 coats China Glaze – Ingrid
1.5 coats Wet n Wild – Cougar Attack (I went over the nail in a few strokes)
1 coat Seche Vite (top coat)
More under the cut…
Here’s 2 coats of Ingrid on me:
I like Ingrid, it’s a slightly shimmery taupe brown but to be honest, it doesn’t look as good on me as it does others on the Internet. It’s still a nice color though, and great for fall. 🙂
But back to Cougar Attack:
It definitely reminds me of a cougar attack, since it’s so in your face with the glitter. I love that Wet n Wild didn’t skimp on the amount of glitter for this one. The sad thing is, it’s probably the worst glitter in the Wet n Wild On the Prowl collection bunch, but that’s completely, unequivocally unfair because it’s a superstar if it weren’t for the other amazeball glitters in the OTP collection. (See: Correction Tape, Tangled in My Web, and Behind Closed Doors)
In conclusion, Cougar Attack is gorgeous, very glittery, very coppery, very Halloween, and a few brush strokes on the nail covers the nail in glitter. Seriously, what’s not to like?
